Absolutely. Parents play an integral role in supporting and reinforcing the work we do in therapy. I start with a one-on-one Zoom session with you and provide ongoing coaching as needed to help you implement strategies that support your child’s growth.

I use a personalized, flexible approach—there’s no one-size-fits-all method in my work.
One of the core foundations of my work is neuroscience education. I help clients understand how their brain works so they can start to see patterns and behaviors not as personal flaws, but as natural brain responses shaped by experiences.
With kids, I use fun analogies like the “barking dog” (amygdala) and the “wise cat” (prefrontal cortex) to teach emotional regulation in a way that really sticks.
For older adults, I incorporate research on neuroplasticity, memory-building strategies, and brain-health practices to support long-term cognitive wellness.
I also use a wide range of evidence-based approaches, including:
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
Psychodynamic therapy
ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)
MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy)
ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) for OCD
Somatic movement
Polyvagal-informed techniques
In addition to these, I draw from many other tools depending on what best supports your healing and growth. I continue to learn, train, and expand my toolkit so I can offer the most effective care possible.
